Welcome to SkyTracko — real-time space intelligence for every city

What SkyTracko is, who it's for, and how to use it for tonight's observation.

SkyTracko is a free, real-time space intelligence platform. Every feature is powered by live data from NASA, NOAA, JPL, and the International Meteor Organization — no account required, no paywalls on core features.

What's inside

  • Tonight's Sky — a panoramic 3D view of exactly what's visible from your city right now: planets, the Moon, the ISS, and bright stars.
  • Asteroid Tracker — every near-Earth object approaching in the next 60 days, sorted by distance, size, or hazard level.
  • Aurora Forecast — cloud-adjusted Kp visibility for the world's best high-latitude cities, with per-hour probability for the next 72 hours.
  • Space Weather Dashboard — live Kp index, solar flare classification, radio blackout risk, and solar wind conditions, with plain-language impact for your activities.
  • Meteor Showers — the full annual calendar, with peak dates, hourly rates (ZHR), and viewing tips.

Built for everyone

We designed SkyTracko so a curious 10-year-old and a working astronomer both get value from the same pages. The front of every page answers "what can I see tonight?" in one line. Scroll down for the technical depth.

Try it

  • Open Tonight's Sky and search your city.
  • Bookmark Space Weather — it's your one-glance dashboard for everything happening on the sun right now.
  • Save a few cities in your Settings and they'll show up automatically whenever you come back.

Clear skies.
